Physiotherapy Assessments and Treatment provided in your own home or care environment. Based in Winterslow and covering all surrounding areas.
I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Oxford Brookes University in 2009 and have worked as a Physiotherapist in the NHS for over 13 years.
I started my career at East Surrey Hospital. During my 8 years there I developed my role in the acute hospital setting gaining valuable experience in trauma and elective orthopaedics, acute medicine, rehabilitation following acute and chronic illness, care of the elderly, stroke/neurological conditions and respiratory physiotherapy.
I spent my last 4 years there working as a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist where I was the Lead Physiotherapist on a specialist Tracheostomy Weaning and Rehab Unit.
I moved to Winterslow in 2015 and have since spent that time working in the Community Care Team in Romsey, gaining vast experience working primarily with elderly patients with mobility issues, falls patients, palliative care, post hospital discharge patients and orthopaedic patients.
I have worked closely with Consultants, GPs, Occupational Therapists and Nurses throughout my time as a Physiotherapist.
I have set up ‘Emily Pipe Physiotherapy' so that I can offer professional Physiotherapy to patients in their own homes or care setting, without the worry of travelling to a clinic. I pride myself on my holistic approach to my patients rehabilitation, health and well-being. I am passionate about providing the best outcomes for my patients regardless of their presenting condition or age.
I am fully insured and registered to the Health Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
